» European Commission has filed an appeal against all decisions from the European Court of Justice for HADs in Aloe spp.

The European Commission (EC) has filed an appeal against all General Court rulings related to HADs.

These appeals suspend the application of the General Court’s decisions that were published in November 2024 (refer to the email sent on November 15, 2024, for further details) until the appeal is resolved.

Consequently, the listings of HADs in Parts A and C of Annex III of Regulation 1925/2006 will remain in effect pending the decision from the Court of Justice of the European Union.

In light of this situation, it is strongly recommended to refrain from using Aloe-based preparations that contain HADs.

We will keep you briefed as new information becomes available.
